Explore Ypsilanti!
Ypsilanti is home of Eastern Michigan University, one of the state's largest historic districts and two traditional downtown's beautifully connected across the Huron River by Riverside and Frog Island parks.
Ypsilanti is a small but vibrant community located in the heart of Southeast Michigan. A mere 5 minutes west of US-23 and Ann Arbor, 15 minutes east to US-275 and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), and 10 minutes to Willow Run Airport (YIP), Ypsilanti’s location makes it easy to connect to neighboring cities and airports, and scheduled for late 2010, Ypsilanti will be one of five stops on the Ann Arbor to Detroit Commuter rail.
Residents enjoy convenient bus access to Ann Arbor, six college campuses, and three major hospitals, as well as pleasant walking and biking within the 4.5 square mile community.
